Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler, a Z-grade film reviewer, is renowned for her sarcastic appreciation for silly action movies and horror films. She began her reviews in late 2009; when she began to gain some recognition (under the name of Obscurus Lupa, which was previously used) Allison Pregler was part of Channel Awesome's family. The channel remained part of the site from January until the beginning of 2015 in which the channel Obscurus Lupa Presents changed into Movie Nights. Presently, she hosts two podcasts: one focused on the Charmed Franchise and another hosted by Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. She has appeared on Brad Jones's series Midnight Screenings, usually reviewing terrible children's films or RiffTrax Live Shows aswell in occasional adult comedies (such as Baywatch 2017). She started reviewing movies late in 2009. Following her rise to fame on the Channel Awesome forums, she was invited to be part of the reviewing group. Her appearances have been in numerous Channel Awesome programs, from Atop the Fourth Wall and Phelous & the Movies to Atop the Fourth Wall. She along with Doug Walker were once members of Channel Awesome. They would frequently be featured in shows like Nostalgia Critic.
