Arike Ogunbowale
Arike Ogunbowale (born April 2, 1985) is an American professional basket ball player. She is a player for the Dallas Wings and the Women's National Basketball Association. She was a player for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the college level before being selected as the fifth pick overall by the Wings during the 2019 WNBA draft. Arike Ogunbowale was born on the 2nd of March in 1997 in Milwaukee Wisconsin to parents Yolanda and Gregory Ogunbowale. Mario Ogunbowale, who is 26 years old, is her brother and Dare Ogunbowale, 20 years old. As the youngest sister, she was the one who received the greatest attention from her parents. Her father Gregory was with the Nigerian Army for quite some time. Ogunbowale comes from an active family history. Her mother Yolanda played softball at DePaul as did her brother Dare. Arike graduated from Divine Savior Holy Angels High School in her hometown. She participated in three games of the varsity league while she studied there. Her skills helped her win amazing victories in her school. High schooler Ogunbowale has made 7 appearances in the league and had 1,477 rebounds as well as 1,477 points in her career. Ogunbowale won gold medals in the 2013 FIBA Americas U16 Championship, 2014. FIBA U17 World Championship, as well as the 2013 FIBA 3x3 U18 Championship.
